Weston Hospicecare is inviting the community to join its annual Moonlight Beach Walk on Saturday, September 14.
The event offers participants the chance to walk either 5km or 10km along Weston-super-Mare's seafront, starting and finishing at the iconic Grand Pier.
It is a night of remembrance and celebration now in its ninth year which brings together local people to raise funds for the hospice.
Sarah, a regular participant from event sponsor Howards Motor Group, said: "I’ve completed the Moonlight Beach Walk on a number of occasions for Howards, it’s an amazing event and the atmosphere is incredible!
"Please come along and join us, you’ll have such a great evening with like-minded people and most importantly, you can raise money for a most amazing local charity, they need those funds to make a difference!"
The evening promises an unforgettable experience for participants who receive a commemorative T-shirt, in-memory candle bag, entertainment and a round of prosecco to celebrate their achievements.
Nicola Slark, Weston Hospicecare’s events and challenges manager, added: "Our annual Moonlight Beach Walk is one of the key fundraising events we host.
"It’s by far our most colourful event of the year and quite hard to miss!"
Registration is open until September 5, with funds raised helping the hospice continue to offer free care to those with life-limiting conditions in the local community.
