THE Marine Lake in Weston-super-Mare has reopened today (Wednesday, September 18) after works to enhance the area.
The works are part of a £20m programme from the Government.
A spokesperson for North Somerset Council said: “This work supports our wider plans for Marine Lake which include improving walkways, steps and ramps, and other enhancements of the area including upgrading and re-opening the public toilets.
“This work is due to be completed next year.
“This is part of a programme of work made possible thanks to our successful bid for £20m from the UK government.
