NEWLAND Homes is offering a behind-the-scenes tour of its zero-carbon housing development.
The special 'Muddy Boots' event will take place at Court de Wyck in Claverham on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6.
The event will provide a first-hand look at the sustainable construction methods behind the 24 zero-carbon homes off Mayors Road.
Visitors will be able to explore the construction site before the homes are completed, learning about the renewable technologies powering the future of housing.
The event is open to anyone interested in sustainable housing and those looking for a new home in North Somerset.
Some of the new homes will be ready for occupation by Christmas.
The tours will provide a detailed overview of the development, which includes a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom detached houses and bungalows.
Attendees will learn about the use of solar PV systems, air source heat pumps, and advanced insulation that enable zero-carbon living.
Marcus Evans, sales and marketing director for Newland Homes, said: "We’re thrilled to offer a rare behind-the-scenes experience of this groundbreaking project.
"The ‘Muddy Boots’ tour will give visitors a unique chance to see the progress of these eco-friendly homes and view the sustainable technology and thoughtful design up close."
The homes at North Field, Court de Wyck, are priced from £475,000 and combine cutting-edge environmental design with a village setting.
Each home is equipped with electric car charging points, high-quality insulation, and is 'A' rated for both environmental impact and energy efficiency, resulting in lower running costs.
The 'Muddy Boots' event will take place from 11am to 5pm on both days at Court de Wyck.
