THE Mayor of Weston has attended the officially open another new store in Weston’s The Sovereign on Saturday morning (October 12) and said “it is encouraging to see confidence being shown by new enterprises”.
The Mayor of Weston, councillor John Crockford-Hawley, was invited to the opening of the new Saltrock store in the Sovereign shopping centre.
He said: “Despite the obvious issues which beset all traditional shopping streets across the country, it’s encouraging to see confidence being shown by new enterprises as they choose to open branches in Weston.”
The surfwear store will offer the full range of Saltrock’s distinctive products, from surf-inspired clothing and accessories to active outdoor gear for the whole family.
This new store will provide the perfect destination for those seeking homegrown designs and affordable apparel for surfing, walking, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Louise Rees, head of retail, previously said: "Weston-Super-Mare has always held a special place in the heart of Saltrock.
"We're excited to be back in this fantastic seaside town, bringing our unique brand of surf-inspired clothing and outdoor gear to a community that embraces the spirit of the coast.
“Whether you're a seasoned surfer, a cold-water swimmer, or someone who simply enjoys the outdoor lifestyle, we have something for everyone."
