The following cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse from April 17 to May 8.
* Corey Bowers, Martindale Road, Weston (21). Assault: fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Possession of class B drug: no separate penalty.
* Victoria Difford, Pelican Close, Weston (35). Assault: community order and ordered to pay £200 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
* Christine Corrigan, Regent Street, Weston (45). Assault and use of threatening words: community order and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge. Assault police officer: Ordered to pay £100 compensation.
* Daniel Jessop, Ellenborough Park Road, Weston (22). Threatening communications and possession of class B drug: community order, restraining order and ordered to pay £85 costs and victim surcharge.
* John Phelan, Summerlands Road, Weston (56). Two counts of assault: community order, restraining order and ordered to pay £250 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge. Possession of class B drug: No separate penalty.
* James Morris, Stoway Lane, Highbridge (25). Possession of class B drug: six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
* Samuel Cockram, Berrow Road, Burnham (21). Driving without valid insurance: disqualified from driving for six months, fined £660 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £66 victim surcharge. Driving without valid licence: no separate penalty.
* Luke Howard, Main Road, West Huntspill (20). Driving without valid insurance: disqualified from driving for six months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Driving without valid licence and with broken headlamp: no separate penalty. * Raymond Hislop, Ellenborough Park Road, Weston (53). Breach non-molestation order: fined £420 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £42 victim surcharge.
* Ian Fender, Donstan Road, Highbridge (64). Speeding: three penalty points, fined £70 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.
