Dean Cope and Max Goss claimed victories in Cup and Plate final at Congresbury Tennis Club recently.
In the main cup final, last year's winner and favourite Cope took on in-form Paul Brean.
Cope played one of the best singles matches, top-spinning the ball to either side, making angles and Brean run, and winning many of the crucial point.
Each game was fiercely contested by Brean but with little reward for his efforts and a massive scoreline win for Cope to take the championship.
In the plate final, for those who finished runners-up in their groups after the first round, Goss was the favourite but against Ed White, who had knocked out a number of strong contenders on the way to the final.
The match was tightly contested, with Goss winning after a lot of long, heavy top-spin rallies.
