Cheddar Tennis Club’s Coronation tournament was resurrected on a sunny June afternoon, following the postponed event from the rainy Bank Holiday weekend in May
The tournament was well supported by club members enjoying a fun intra club doubles competition with a red, white and blue theme to mark the celebration of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camila.
Both the winning pair Ruth Rogers and Ollie Eyres and runners-up Georgie Syed and Chris Rogers were presented with commemorative King Charles III mugs by Chairperson Sarah Strawbridge.
The next intra club competition will be held on Saturday, July 1 and is followed by a cream tea.
