Wedmore Ladies were able to play all 18 holes, as they played a foursomes last Thursday.
Mary-Lou Denny and Trish Phelps top scored with 31 points, putting them a single point ahead of runners-up Eunice Bond and Jenny Thomas. In third were Alison Dodkin and Jane Hewitt with 28, a couple of points ahead of fourth placed Liz Hill and Claire Biggs.
In the Club Stableford on Saturday the best scores came in Division Three and was won by Chris Mckinley with 43 points for the highest score of the day.
Peter Sismanovic took second with 40, but only after countback over the last six holes when Charlie Richardson matched his score.
Ian Williams won Division One with 40, and again there was a tight competition for second with Alan Richardson finishing ahead of Pete Brown after both scored 38.
Scores were not quite so high in Division Two, but there was yet another close finish. Lucas Kirk finished first. His score of 36 was just one better than Kevin Burrow who took second ahead of Greg Cox on countback after both scored 35.
In the ladies the best score came from Jane Prosser with 29. Countback was called on again to sort out the places with Sally Stephens taking second ahead of Trish Major after both scored 26.
