The weather continued to pay havoc with competitions at Wedmore Golf Club with the Seniors missing out yet again last week due to heavy showers.
The Ladies had to play their stableford over just nine holes to avoid the worst of the rain. There was only one player who managed to play below her handicap and that was the impressive Marion Warren-Smith.
She won Division Two with a superb score of 20 points. This put her four points ahead of the rest of the field with Janet Cornish taking second place with 16 and Jill Cornelius followed in third place with a score of 14.
Eunice Bond matched her handicap to win Division One with an equally impressive 18 points ahead of Jane Hewitt by just a couple of points in second place and Ruth Rogers had to settle for third with a score of 15 points.
