Shaftesbury Road have unveiled their pre-season schedule.
The Berries will look to make it three successive league titles in a row in 2024 as they start proceedings by hosting both Frenchay, on April 13, and Cleeve CC, on April 17, before visiting Spaxton on April 20 and then Purnell a week later.
Shaftesbury Road have a midweek double header against Long Sutton and East Huntspill on April 24 and a week later they visit Dial Hill to take on Clevedon CC, three days before the start of their new campaign in Somerset Division Five North West at Trull Seconds.
"There are some tough places to go," gaffer Jake Mawford said.
Spaxton just got promoted from Division Four, Purnell very strong in Division Four. We have got a Division Three side, a Division Four side to really push ourselves as we are Division Five.
"We are not going to play any friendlies against Division Seven teams, we have got no interest in that anymore. So, we're pushing forward on that front.
"We have never played Frenchay before, so, that's inaugural for the show. We look forward to that. Cleeve is always a good game, we have never played Clevedon before and we know they're going to have their first team out, who are approximately 10 leagues above our first team, but that won't put us off."
