Weston CC have announced they have re-signed New Zealander Lachie Bailey as an overseas player for the 2024 season.
Bailey returns to Weston after an excellent 2023 season, where he finished with 23 WEPL wickets, the third highest in the league, and scored 281 runs.
Bailey, who becomes Weston's second signing after Josh Davey, will arrive back at Devonshire Road in April 2024 and will be available all season.
And Chris Davidson said he is delighted to have Bailey back.
“Lach was a great addition to the club in 2023, so we are really happy he’s agreed to return for 2024," he told the club's website.
"He lead the bowling attack excellently, and contributed well with the bat. Bringing an overseas back for a second season is great for us, as we know he enjoyed his time in England and made an impact on everyone at the club.
"After seeing the quality he showed last season, we know he’s buzzing to come back and play a huge role again in 2024."
