Weston-super-Mare RFC have announced that their senior men’s squad will be playing five pre-season fixtures ahead of the new league season which is scheduled to start on September 7th, 2024.

All five of the fixtures will be in August and will feature players throughout their 1st XV, United XV (2nds), and Athletic XV (3rds).

To start the off the run of games a mixture of potential Weston 1st XV and United players will host Nailsea & Backwell on August 15th, KO 7:30 pm, and a similar squad will face a Hornets XV the following week with the venue and kick-off time yet to be confirmed.

Two days later, on August 24th, a mixture of potential United and Athletic players will travel to face Avonmouth Old Boys, KO 2:30 pm, before a United XV will host Frampton Cottrell on August 29th, KO 7:30 pm.

The final pre-season outing for the Weston players will be away to Marlborough on Saturday, August 31st, KO 2:30 pm.

The Wiltshire side have just been promoted to Regional 1 South West, and the two sides met in a pre-season game at the Recreation Ground last August.
