Hornets RFC have announced the pre-season friendlies that their senior men’s squads will be playing ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The Hornets are coming off the back of a successful season that saw them maintain both their position in the National League 2 West Division as well as their claim to being the highest quality rugby team in the area.
They have now announced four pre-season fixtures that will see players from their four senior men’s teams hit the pitch after the summer lay off and prepare for the upcoming season.
The Hornets’ first match will be at The Nest against Winscombe RFC on August 10th.
They will then have their one and only away game of the 2024 pre-season when they travel to Chew Valley RFC on August 17th.
For their third game The Hornets will host across town rivals Weston-Super-Mare RFC on August 22nd.
For their final pre-season game, The Hornets will invite Barnstaple RFC to town on August 31st, with all the kick-off times to be confirmed at a later date.
The pre-season fixtures will lead The Hornets up to the opening day of their season, which is currently scheduled for September 7th, against Redruth RFC.
