Uphill Castle Football Club will be playing five pre-season friendlies next month ahead of their 2024/25 campaign.
The Weston based club managed to maintain their place in the Premier Division of the Somerset County league last season after finishing 11th, on 32 points.
There would have been slight worries for Castle as they approached the end of the season just above the relegation zone, but two wins in their last three games of the season guaranteed them safety and premier division football for another year.
They have now announced they will be playing five friendlies across two weeks in July to warm up ahead of their 2024/25 season.
In the first week Castle will be taking on Burnham United away on July 13th, Cheddar AFC at home on July 16th, and Minehead AFC at home on July 20th.
The following week Castle will be playing away to Cutters Friday on July 23rd and then away to Sporting Weston on July 27th.
