Cleeve Tennis Club celebrated its 75th anniversary with heaps of fun, laughter - and tennis of course.
The busy schedule kicked off on Saturday afternoon with an inhouse tournament involving 24 club members.
Participants were grouped based on their playing skills, and played in two matches each.
Highest scorers proceeded to the semi-finals, with Wendy Griggs and Andrew Lucas crowned as the ultimate winners.
The following day, the club's head coach of 30 years, John Tate, organised a juniors inhouse tournament.
Despite inclement weather, the event witnessed robust participation.
All participants received medals, with special trophies provided by Tate himself.
He was supported by three LTS level 1 assistant coaches who officiated the tournament.
The club's anniversary celebrations continued with an open day that attracted numerous visitors.
Activities included pickle ball, an increasingly popular sport that appeals to both young and older players.
Traditional tennis was also part of the festivity.
The merriment was complemented by a feast of strawberries and cream, ice cream, burgers, and hot dogs.
A club member also contributed a delectable homemade cake.
The club ran a record-breaking raffle which saw 21 local companies donate prizes, raising over £600.
Cleeve Tennis Club also expressed interest in recruiting more female members, particularly for league play.
