Clarence Blues have moved to the top of the table and are on the hunt for promotion after a huge win.
They trumped Portishead 126 to 63 in the Over 55's Triples League.
Derek James, Gordon Sansom, and Bob Sweet were victorious in their match by two shots, despite trailing in the first eight ends.
They held their nerve to clinch the win, earning 18 out of 20 available points for the Blues.
Similarly, Clarence Ladies enjoyed a string of victories in the NSTL and Weston and District Triples League.
Against Wedmore, the Ladies achieved two winning rinks and one drawn.
Jill Coles, Jan Anning, and Jo Mannion staged a commendable comeback to secure their match by five.
The ladies then played Portishead twice, first in the NSTL.
Ange Sims, Corrine Thomas, and Jo Mannion were the best winning rink, taking the lead from the start.
They had a bit of a scare on the third, but after that they kept it tight to take a nine-shot win.
But it was not second time lucky for Clarence Ladies, who fell to the same opposition 38 to 70 in the Southey Cup.
Lyn Leigh and Carol Edlin offered the sole resistance, leading their 4 wood pairs match from the start to win by nine shots.
