Weston-super-Mare AFC have announced the signing of midfielder Dylan Kadji ahead of their 2024/25 campaign in the Vanarama National League South.
Kadji joins from Bristol City having progressed through the Championship side’s youth system.
The 20-year-old signed his first professional contract for City in November 2021 at the age of 18 and has since had loan spells at National League South side Bath City, League Two teams Swindon Town and Forest Green Rovers, and most recently National League club Aldershot Town.
He also made four appearances for Bristol City’s first team in 2022/23, including scoring seven minutes into his debut against Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Cup.
Kadji is capable of playing both central-midfield and centre-back and will look to add some defensive nous to The Seagulls’ already dynamic and experienced midfield of Jacob Cane and James Dodd.
After Kadji’s signing, Weston Manager Scott Bartlett said: “Dylan has had an outstanding education at Bristol City and is a very talented player.
“He is an excellent addition to us and one we have no doubt will move back up the football pyramid.”
