Teams at Congresbury Bowling Club celebrated successful seasons, finishing 5th in their leagues.
Stellar performances for the Over-55s culminated in decisive victories over West Backwell, 80-73 (7-2 points) and Chew Stoke, 114-81 (7-2 points).
In both matches, Gerry Wilcock stood out, contributing to victories in his respective trios.
The matches against Portishead RBL were more challenging, finishing 73-103 (1 ½ - 8 ½ points).
Standout players, Dave Folds and Richard Jones, bucked the trend, scoring a win in their trio with 17 – 15.
Further tussles in the Somerset League Prem 2 meant Congresbury reigned supreme over Taunton Deane, with a total score of 91-44 (12-0 points).
There were incredible performances across the board.
The team consisting of Z Broom, L Beck, S Eastment, C Shipway remarkably scored 22 – 12.
However, the Somerset League North 2 game against Portishead RBL wasn't as triumphant, losing 54-62 (2-10 points).
This was despite stellar performances from P Hayward, K Westlake, D Folds, D Norman, who marked a notable 28 – 9 triumph for their team.
Next week is the club's annual Finals Weekend, it is also County Finals Weekend where Congresbury are in the Mixed Triples Semi Final.
