Wrington Redhill played in their third game of the week as they were beaten 3-0 away to a strong Stockwood Green side.
The visitors initially created good early chances but could not capitalise, with Harrison Campbell unable to convert his opportunities.
The tide turned swiftly, and just five minutes into the game, Stockwood’s striker Jake Reid dented Wrington Redhill’s confidence with a stunning lob.
It was apparent that Wrington Redhill, having previously played with 10 men against Nailsea and Tickenham, were struggling.
Once, again before halftime, a miscommunication saw Stockwood’s Sam Thomas sprinting the length of the field, ultimately assisting Blake Reid to score, doubling the home side’s lead.
As the second half commenced, and only three minutes in, Wrington Redhill’s hopes of a comeback were dashed as Stockwood's Harry Templeman capitalised on a blocked clearance, boosting the score line to 3-0.
Despite strategic attempts to change their formation and consistent effort, Wrington Redhill was unable to make much of a difference in the outcome of the game.
Despite a tough week, their resilience did not wilt as they vied to snatch at least something from the game.
However, their attempts were unsuccessful - Stockwood Green 3, Wrington Redhill 0.
