Winscombe Bowling Club's Originals won the 2024 Weston & District Over 55's Triples League.
The squad secured the league title with an 18-shot victory against St Andrews on a very wet day.
Despite being down at half-time on most rinks, the team's resilience shone through, leading to a final score of 107 shots (17 points) to 89 shots (3 points).
Key contributions came from the rinks of Mike Curtis, Mike Adams, Chris Bryant, Tom Ellis, and Graham Neville.
A club spokesperson said: "Thanks must go to everyone who has played or stood as a reserve this year, a great squad effort to win 15 out of 16 games".
