Champions of the Somerset County Women's League, St Andrew's Bowling Club, beat runners-up Ashcombe Park.
The win sees the women finish 29 points clear at the top of the table.
The St Andrews team clinched all 12 points by winning every rink in the match played at home on Saturday.
Notably, they came from behind in two of the rinks.
Marie McMillan’s trio, initially seven down after 10 ends, managed to secure a win by eight shots, thanks to a strong finish.
Similarly, Joan Duffy’s team, trailing by four, turned the game around with a remarkable scoring streak, winning by 10 shots.
Jackie Pitman’s triple, who had a seven-shot advantage, led 23-0 after 10 ends.
Despite a vigorous fightback from Ashcombe, they managed to secure a win by eleven shots.
St Andrew's, boasting several novice bowlers, celebrated a remarkable achievement.
Among the squad, Debbie Johns has been selected to skip a rink for England in the British Isles Short-mat Championships in Carmarthen later this year.
Meanwhile, St Andrews men's team, despite a loss to Winscombe Originals, managed to secure the three points needed to remain in Division One of the over-55 league, as Winscombe clinched the championship with their victory.
