Weston Celtic triumphed over Berrow 3-1 in the first round of the Atwell Shield on Saturday, October 5th.
In other matches, AFC Nailsea & Backwell edged out Clevedon United A 3-2, while Congresbury Res secured a 5-2 victory against Selkirk United.
Coronation United lost to Hutton Res with a score of 5-3.
Haywood Village won 1-0 against Winscombe & Churchill.
Nailsea United ‘A’ dominated Locking Park, winning 4-0.
There's was goals aplenty at Shipham, who were thrashed 7-1 at home to Axbridge United.
Weston Crusaders and Burnham United A could not be separated in 90 minutes, drawing 2-2.
It went to spot kicks instead, which was won by Weston 4-2.
In Division One, St George E-in-G Res beat Uphill Castle Res 2-1, while West Wick lost 1-4 to Swiss Valley Rangers.
Division Two action started with Axbridge United Res drawing 1-1 with Sporting Weston Res, while St George E-in-G A and Isle of Wedmore Res were both victorious away to Portishead Town and Worle Rangers Res respectively.
There were a 16 goals in just three games of Division Three action.
Highburn Athletic hit Berrow Res for five, Yatton & Cleeve United went one better with a 6-2 thrashing of Sporting Weston Colts, while it was just the three in Winscombe & Churchill Res' 2-1 win over West Wick Res.
Scoring boots were definitely on in Division Four too, with the match of the weekend being Long Ashton's astonishing 15-0 win over Uphill Castle Colts.
AFC Nailsea & Backwell Res were thumped 5-0 at home to Oldmixon United, while Banwell Colts beat Worle Rangers A in an entertaining 3-2 win.
Last but not least was Weston Village's 2-0 away win against Weston Celtic Res.
