Wrington Redhill's four-game winning run continued in south Bristol thanks to a teenage sensation.
The team entered the away fixture against Imperial full of confidence, but the match proved challenging.
Imperial took the lead within the first minute, as left winger Keegan Morgan capitalised on a loose ball, slotting it past Wrington's Rob Hannah.
Wrington Redhill, shaken by the early goal, began to assert their dominance, but their midfielder Lew Milkins soon suffered a troubling hamstring injury.
The change saw Kris Bell re-enter the fray, and his excellent close ball control soon made a significant impact.
Bell’s run from deep led Wrington Redhill to their equaliser, with an Imperial defender inadvertently putting the ball into his own net.
Wrington Redhill did not stop there; they soon took the lead again with a free-kick from Cam Milkins.
Despite the efforts of Imperial keeper Ollie Eglon, Milkins' shot found its way into the back of the net, marking the away side’s second goal of the match.
The first half ended with Wrington Redhill leading 2-1.
As the second half commenced, the match became more evenly contested.
Wrington Redhill, needing to defend resolutely, relied on their skipper Connor Harding-James, who marshalled the defence expertly.
However, in the 78th minute, Imperial’s Sam Jones found a loose ball just outside the 18-yard box and slotted it home, drawing the teams level at 2-2.
The match appeared to be heading for a draw until the 16-year-old Josh Oliver stepped up.
From midfield, he unleashed an unstoppable shot from 25 yards out, finding the top corner of the net.
The goal, a stunning strike, secured Wrington Redhill's 3-2 victory.
Oliver's performance was recognised by supporters, who named him player of the match for his complete midfield display, capped by the brilliant goal.
The final score was Imperial 2, Wrington Redhill 3.
