Worlebury Golf Club retained the Westbury Shield in a nail-biting finish.
The club recently faced local rivals Weston-super-Mare in the annual mixed challenge match.
After a decisive victory for Worlebury at Weston's ground last year, the visitors came back with a strong team, eager to reclaim the trophy.
Weston made a strong start, winning the first two legs of the best-of-seven tie.
However, Worlebury rallied, drawing the match to 3-3.
The outcome rested on the final game, with Worlebury club captain Martin Morgan and Kay Pollard securing the decisive point.
The shield will stay at Worlebury for another year.
Worlebury Ladies Inter-Club League team also celebrated their promotion to Division 1 after winning Division 2.
It has been a successful year for the Worlebury Golf Club.
