SOUNDS of the 1960s will transport people back in time at a magnificent music show in Weston later this month.
Star guests include The Fortunes, Vanity Fare and Dozy Beaky Mick and Tich at the Sensational 60s Experience.
It will also be the original voice of The Searchers Mike Pender’s farewell tour before retirement.
The group began as a Liverpool Skiffle group in in 1959 but turned into mainstream pop during the 1960s.
They notched six UK top ten hits with three reaching number one.
Hits include Sweets For My Sweet, Needles And Pins, Don’t Throw Your Love Away and When You Walk In The Room.
On Saturday, October 15, a festival of nostalgia at The Playhouse, in Grove Village, will help people relive their childhood or show young people what their parents have been raving about for all these years.
